Dubbed “Germany’s Favourite Fast Food” by The Wall Street Journal, you can understand that it is, in fact, very popular. But what is it?
A fat pork sausage, boiled and served, doused in thick tomato sauce and curry powder. Always served hot with either a white bread roll or some fries.
Traditionally eaten as a “poor man’s dish”, the pork sausage that swims in curry-tomato sauce, is now eaten by all. Well, except those who don’t eat meat.
I won’t lie to you, it’s tasty. It’s something you might crave after a hard winter’s day and you just want something hot, salty, a little spicy and filling. We can all relate.
