For the purposes of these Terms:
Booking means any reservation for a tour or experience operated by Fork & Walk Tours.
Customer means the individual, company, travel agent or organisation making the booking.
Guest means any individual participating in the booked experience.
Public Tour means a scheduled experience open to individual bookings and shared with other guests.
Private Tour means an experience reserved exclusively for one booking party.
Group Tour means any booking for ten (10) or more guests, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Corporate Tour means any experience booked on behalf of a company, organisation or institution.
Quotation means any written proposal, itinerary, pricing schedule or invoice issued by Fork & Walk Tours.
Tour Date means the confirmed commencement date and time of the booked experience.
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are quoted in Euros (€) and include applicable taxes.
Public Tours require full payment at the time of booking.
Private, Group and Corporate Tours follow the payment schedule stated on the quotation or invoice.
A booking is confirmed once the quotation has been accepted, signed or confirmed in writing. Payment is then due in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
Fork & Walk Tours reserves the right to suspend or cancel bookings where payment is overdue.
Customer amendment requests are subject to availability.
Final participant numbers must be confirmed no later than ten (10) calendar days before the Tour Date unless otherwise agreed.
The final confirmed numbers will be used for invoicing and operational planning.
No refund, credit or reduction will be provided for guests who do not attend or for reductions after the final invoice has been issued.
Fork & Walk Tours may substitute venues, tasting items, guides or routes where reasonably necessary with equivalent alternatives.
5.1 Tours operate in all normal weather conditions. Guests are responsible for appropriate clothing and footwear.
5.2 Routes, venue order and timings may vary due to weather, public events, transport disruption, venue availability or operational requirements.
5.3 Tastings may vary due to seasonal availability, menu changes or supplier availability. Equivalent alternatives will be provided where reasonably possible.
5.4 Independent venue partners may occasionally be substituted where necessary.
5.5 Published tour durations are approximate.
5.6 Suitable non-alcoholic alternatives will be offered where reasonably available. Alcoholic beverages cannot be exchanged for food, cash or refunds.
Cancellation requests must be submitted by email.
Public Tours:
• 25+ hours before departure: complimentary reschedule.
• Less than 25 hours: non-refundable.
Private Tours:
• 72+ hours before departure: complimentary reschedule.
• Less than 72 hours: non-refundable.
Group & Corporate Tours:
• 30+ days: 100% refund
• 15–29 days: 50% refund
• 10–14 days: 20% refund
• Less than 10 days: non-refundable.
No-shows are not entitled to a refund, credit or complimentary reschedule.
Government restrictions preventing operation will result in an alternative date, equivalent experience or refund.
Fork & Walk Tours may cancel or modify an experience due to minimum numbers, severe weather, venue closures, guide illness, transport disruption, public safety concerns or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Where appropriate, customers will be offered an alternative date, equivalent experience or refund.
Guests must arrive on time, advise dietary requirements in advance and notify Fork & Walk Tours of any accessibility requirements prior to the tour where possible.
Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings.
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and comply with all reasonable instructions provided by their guide and venue staff.
Fork & Walk Tours may remove any guest whose behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, violent, unsafe or excessively intoxicated.
No refund, credit or reschedule will be provided where a guest is removed for misconduct.
10.1 Fork & Walk Tours may take photographs or short videos during experiences for promotional purposes. Guests who do not wish to appear should notify their guide before the tour.
10.2 Guests may take photographs and short videos for personal, non-commercial use provided they do not disrupt the experience or venue operations.
10.3 Commercial photography, filming or content creation requires prior written approval from Fork & Walk Tours and may be subject to venue restrictions.
10.4 Audio recording of guides or storytelling for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
Booking confirmations, invoices and operational updates may be sent by email.
Where a mobile number is provided, Fork & Walk Tours may send one reminder SMS before the experience and one feedback SMS afterwards. Numbers will not be used for marketing SMS without consent.
Guests are encouraged to raise concerns with their guide during the experience wherever reasonably possible.
Formal complaints should be submitted by email within fourteen (14) calendar days of the Tour Date. Fork & Walk Tours will investigate all complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Fork & Walk Tours exercises reasonable care and skill in delivering its services.
Independent venue partners remain responsible for the services they provide.
Guests participate at their own risk except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Fork & Walk Tours accepts no responsibility for personal property except where caused by its negligence.
Fork & Walk Tours shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, transport disruption, venue closures or similar events.
Gift vouchers are subject to availability, are not redeemable for cash, may not be resold without written consent and remain subject to applicable law.
Personal information is processed in accordance with the Fork & Walk Tours Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
All tour routes, itineraries, branding, written materials, photographs and other intellectual property remain the property of Fork & Walk Tours. Commercial reproduction or recording is prohibited without prior written consent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Fork & Walk Tours is committed to supporting independent venue partners, championing local communities and delivering authentic experiences led by knowledgeable local guides. Where operational changes are necessary, we will endevour to provide an experience of equivalent quality.
