Tips for ITB Berlin 2025

How to make the best out of your short stay.

ITB 2025 is coming up soon and here are a few tips on how to make your short and busy stay even more pleasant and exciting!

From the 4th of March until the 6th of March people from all over the world will gather for the international travel trade show in our favourite city: Berlin.

Since you’ll most likely be wrapped up with making new connections, discovering new exciting events for your clients and discussing upcoming trends and innovations, we created a quick overview of where to go, what to eat and where to relax in your limited free time. So that you get to make the most of your stay in Berlin!

Grabbing a Quick Lunch

You’ll probably won’t want to waste too much time traveling around town for your lunch break. But luckily the famous Kantstraße with its endless delicious asian options is just a quick s-bahn ride away from the ITB:

  • Lo Men’s Noodle House. This Taiwanese eatery is everything people love about travelling in Asia, great smells, quality noodle soups, tasty dumplings (made to order with a 15minute wait), fast moving, simple seating and yes, cheap prices – this is a must on your Berlin food list.
  • Madam Ngo offer “Indochine French Cuisine” with delicious Pho’s in a beautiful ambience. If you’re not so much into soups, we can highly recommend the Bahn Mi as well! Vegan and vegetarian options are available too.

Another slightly unexpected gem can be found on the fancy Kurfürstendamm that is otherwise known for its decadent restaurants and shops:

  • Goldies. “The best bad food in town”. This snackshop has stolen the hearts of many Berliners over the past few years and more recently they also opened up shop on Kurfürstendamm.
Tips for ITB Berlin 2025

Feierabend!

There is a German word specifically for the time after you finish work and it’s called Feierabend (literally: feast evening). The moment to leave the ITB behind, start the evening with a delicious drink and grab some bites with your colleagues, new friends or perhaps just by yourself. Here are some of our favourite locations:

  • Knödelwirtschaft: the home of traditional German Knödel, made by hand, with love in a beautifully relaxed neighbourhood setting. This is comfort and tradition all-in-one.
  • BRLO: Brewery with a classy restaurant focused on vegetarian cuisine by Ben Pommer. Ben seeks to express himself through each and every ingredient which comes into his kitchen. With his menu he has, uniquely, cast vegetables in the starring role. Fermented, smoked, dehydrated, smoked or fried. The brewery is impressively built from 27 shipping containers and sits in the beautiful Gleisdreieck park. Definitely worth a visit.
  • Alt Wien: Traditional Austrian flare with hands-down best Wiener Schnitzel in Berlin and even possibly outside of Austria. Bookings required.
  • Fahimi Bar: It doesn’t get more Kreuzberg than this. Delicious seasonal cocktails in a stylish bar. You just have to find the front door first, but that’s all part of the adventure.

Food Lovers

Can’t get enough of all the different flavours Berlin has to offer, but you’re just not quite sure where to start or where to go? Or perhaps you’re looking for an activity for your entire team? Join us on one of our local food tours or send us a message with your request and we’d be delighted to show you around!

Art & Photography

Perhaps you’d like a little break from the ITB crowds but are still looking for something inspiring to do on your time off. During the month of March the European Month of Photography is happening in Berlin and you’ll definitely find a museum or gallery near your hotel that is participating in this fantastic event.

The Day After

So you survived 3 days of travel trade show and you’ve given yourself the luxury of spending 1 more day in town before flying back home again. There are so many places to visit, restaurants to try and activities to do, but you simply want to relax and recover, Berlin style (or actually Bali style): welcome to Vabali.

This sauna and wellness spa, closely located to the Berlin central station, is a well-known gem amongst the locals and is often considered the place to be after a serious night of partying in one of Berlin’s famous clubs. Sit back and relax, you deserve it.
